At Bistline Vision Care Associates in Lenscrafters Plymouth Meeting Mall, we are proud to provide comprehensive eye care to the whole Plymouth Meeting Community. But beyond providing eye care, we are also proud participants in the culture of Plymouth Meeting as well.
For students of La Salle University’s Plymouth Meeting branch, as well as those just passing through for a visit, there is a lot to see and do while you’re around for your eye exam or other eye care services with Bistline.
One of the most popular places to visit is the Plymouth Friends Meetinghouse, which was built by the Quaker community that first settled Plymouth Meeting at the beginning of the 18th century. This historic site has stories to tell from as far back as the Revolutionary War, when it temporarily served as a field hospital for wounded patriots fighting the British for independence. Nearly 100 years later, it would also be used as a meeting house for members of the Underground Railroad.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, the larger Plymouth Township area is home to roughly 149 acres of park land, making up 11 parks, including the Greater Plymouth Community Centre.
And for those who prefer to remain indoors, Plymouth Meeting boasts the largest Wholefoods Market in the Philadelphia area, as well as the Plymouth Meeting Mall, along with the adjacent AMC Theatres. There are also a good number of dining and entertainment establishments nearby.
All in all, there is much to do and see in the Plymouth Meeting area while you are around. For more information, feel free to ask our eye care team for recommendations!
